Qrisen for Publishing

One code on the cover.
It rings up at the till — and opens the book's living page.

A branded, print-grade QR code for every book, resolving to a hosted landing page backed by a complete, AI-assisted ONIX 3.1 record. Refract your book into a single scan.

GS1 Sunrise 2027

Retail checkouts worldwide are being made 2D-barcode ready by the end of 2027.

Sunrise 2027 is GS1's industry milestone for point-of-sale systems to read QR codes carrying GS1 Digital Links — one code that scans at the till and opens live web content. It is a readiness initiative, not a mandate, and the familiar barcode isn't being switched off. But the publishers who are ready first get one cover code that does the work of two — and a live page behind every printed copy.

Because an ISBN-13 is already a GTIN-13, most titles need no extra GS1 registration. Qrisen mints the Digital Link, hosts the destination, and keeps it alive for the life of the printing. Be 2D-ready ahead of the industry. Read the honest Sunrise 2027 guide →

How it works

1 · Bring the book

Type an ISBN, upload a PDF/EPUB/Word file, or import your existing ONIX feed. Our AI drafts the full metadata record — title, contributors, description, Thema and BISAC classifications — for you to review.

2 · Confirm the record

Everything is editable and nothing is invented: AI suggestions arrive as confidence-scored chips you confirm. Pick a conformance target — Bronze to Platinum — and see exactly what’s missing to reach it.

3 · Print one code

Design a branded, print-grade QR (SVG, hi-res PNG, print PDF with crop marks). It encodes a GS1 Digital Link, resolves to your book’s hosted page, and the destination stays editable after printing.

AI-assisted ONIX 3.1

Metadata extraction and subject classification against the full Thema 1.6 and BISAC 2025 vocabularies — suggestions you confirm, never silent writes.

GS1 Digital Link

The same code is built for retail 2D scanning and the open web. For books, your ISBN-13 already is the GTIN — no extra registration for most titles.

A page that never 404s

We host your book’s landing page at a permanent URL and never break it — even if you cancel. Printed codes must outlive subscriptions.

Scan analytics

Per-book and catalogue dashboards: scans over time, countries, devices, referrers — evidence for your next print decision.

Print-grade output

Error correction tuned for logos, quiet zones enforced, vector exports at 300–600 DPI with crop marks and the human-readable ISBN.

Discoverability built in

Every hosted page ships schema.org Book markup generated from your ONIX record, so a scan destination is also a search asset.
